Bigfoot society records numerous sightings in Minnesota

Evidence for the legendary Bigfoot in the state of Minnesota is on the increase with over 75 reported sightings.

The Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Society have recorded several sightings, photographs and footprints within the last three years leading researchers to believe that there really is something out there in the woods.

Bigfoot alive and living in northern Minnesota? The co-founders of the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Society say, "100 percent yes. " They said they have received more than 75 reports of sightings, captured images, and Bigfoot footprints in just three years.

Η ερευνητική εταιρία του Bigfoot( Μακρυπόδη ) καταγράφει πολυάριθμες εμφανίσεις στη Μινεσότα.

Τα αποδεικτικά στοιχεία για το θρυλικό Bigfoot στην πολιτεία της Μινεσότα αυξάνονται με πάνω από 75 αναφερθείσες εμφανίσεις.

Η Eταιρία του Bigfoot στη Βόρεια Μινεσότα έχει καταγράψει αρκετές παρατηρήσεις, φωτογραφίες, αποτυπώματα εντός της τελευταίας τριετίας, ώστε κορυφαίοι ερευνητές να πιστεύουν ότι υπάρχει πραγματικά κάτι εκεί έξω στο δάσος.

Nebula NGC 2392, 5,000 light years from Earth.

Nebula NGC 2392, called Eskimo because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood. The hood is, in fact a ring of comet-shaped objects flying away from a dying star. Eskimo is 5,000 light years from Earth.

Νεφέλωμα NGC 2392, ονομαζόμενο Εσκιμώος γιατί μοιάζει με πρόσωπο που περιβάλλεται από γούνινη κουκούλα. Η κουκούλα είναι, στην πραγματικότητα ένα δαχτυλίδι από αντικείμενα που μοιάζουν με θραύσματα κομήτη που διαλύεται. Το Eskimo είναι 5.000 έτη φωτός από τη Γη.

Starry Night

Starry Night, so named because it reminded astronomers of the Van Gogh painting. It is a halo of light around a star in the Milky Way.

Starry Night, ονομάστηκε επειδή υπενθυμίζει στους αστρονόμους το πίνακα ζωγραφικής του Βαν Γκογκ. Είναι ένα φωτοστέφανο γύρω από ένα αστέρι του Γαλαξία.


The mysterious Socotra island

The island of Socotra is found, strangely enough, here on earth:
Known for decades as the Galapagos of the Indian Ocean, it’s the world’s tenth richest island for endemic plant species. And the biggest island in the Middle East 125 kilometers in length and 45 kilometers across.

Το νησί της Σοκότρα βρίσκεται, περιέργως, εδώ στη γη:
Γνωστό επί δεκαετίες ως Γκαλαπάγκος του Ινδικού Ωκεανού, είναι το δέκατο πλουσιότερο νησί του κόσμου για τα ενδημικά είδη φυτών. Και το μεγαλύτερο νησί στη Μέση Ανατολή, 125 χιλιόμετρα σε μήκος και 45 χιλιομέτρων σε ολόκληρη.

P. H.Fawcett, lost in the Amazon // Ο P. H.Fawcett, χαμενος στη ζουγκλα

Colonel P. H.Fawcett was born in 1867 in Devon, England. (link, read his story here)
He served in the Royal Artillery for many years.
Fawcett later learned surveying.
In 1906 he accepted an offer to survey and map the area around the Amazon river.
After many expeditions, he and his son disappeared in the Amazon jungle.
No trace of them was ever found.

Ο συνταγματάρχης P.H.Fawcett γεννήθηκε το 1867 στο Ντέβον της Αγγλίας.
Υπηρέτησε στο Βασιλικό Πυροβολικό για πολλά χρόνια.
Ο Fawcett αργότερα έμαθε τοπογραφία.
Το 1906 δέχθηκε την προσφορά για την έρευνα και χαρτογράφηση της περιοχής γύρω από τον Αμαζόνιο.
Μετά από πολλές αποστολές, ο ίδιος και ο γιος του εξαφανίστηκαν στη ζούγκλα.
Δεν βρέθηκαν ποτέ ίχνη απο τη τελευταία αποστολή.
